Save the Date!

On Sunday, June 19, 2016 (Father’s Day), 11:00am-2:00pm, Lindy in the Park presents Live Music Day: Jacob Miller and the Bridge City Crooners)

WHERE: Same time and location as our regular Lindy in the Park events: Golden Gate Park, San Francisco (south sidewalk of John F. Kennedy Drive between 8th and 10th Avenues, near the de Young Museum)

BAND: Jacob Miller and the Bridge City Crooners from Portland, Oregon. “A captivating mix of western swing, Americana, and hot jazz music”.

COST: FREE, as always!

Hi Everyone,

Due to the Bay to Breakers race, which runs along JFK Drive next to our dance area, Lindy in the Park is cancelled this Sunday, May 15, 2016.

Lindy in the Park will return the following Sunday, May 22, at its regular time (11:00am-2:00pm) and place (weather permitting, of course) and resume its normal weekly schedule.

And YES, we are planning to have Lindy in the Park this Sunday 5/8/2016, Mother’s Day.

Regular times:

• 11:00am to 2:00pm
• 12:00 pm – free 30-minute beginner lesson

Weather forecast:

• “Mother” nature should be cooperative, although it sounds like Saturday might be a little wet.

Looking ahead, Bay to Breaker is next Sunday, May 15, and we will be off (ie. No LitP on the 15th). Again, we are ON this Sunday the 8th.  If the weather looks rainy and you’re not sure whether LitP is happening, please check here by 10:00am Sunday morning.  If you don’t see any notice, you can assume that it’s happening.
