New Year’s Eve Edition of Lindy in the Park!
Sunday, December 31, 11:00am-2:00pm!
Yes, there will be Lindy in the Park on New Year’s Eve! Start dancing and celebrating the new year early at Lindy in the Park. Same time (11am-2pm) and location (south sidewalk of JFK Dr., between 8th/10th Ave, Golden Gate Park, San Francisco).

Special Holiday Edition of Lindy in the Park!
Sunday, December 24, 11:00am-2:00pm!

Yes, there will be Lindy in the Park on Christmas Eve, decorated in holiday cheer, with swingin’ holiday music and treats! Hot apple cider and hot chocolate will be served (compliments of Santa’s helpers). And a special a cappella performance is also planned! Bring your holiday spirit by wearing your Santa hats, dressing in Holiday colors, or bringing some holiday drinks, treats, or snacks.

Hi Everyone,

Lindy in the park is cancelled today, Sunday, Nov 26, 2017, due to rain.  It is currently sprinkling here in San Francisco, and the forecasts do not look good.  But we hope to be back next week!

For some indoor dancing instead, later today, check out the Silver Bell Jazz Band at Amnesia, 6-8pm, and/or Lindy Bowl at Mission Bowl, 7-10pm!

Because of the poor air quality cause by the wildfires in the North Bay, many of you may be wondering whether Lindy in the Park is happening today (Oct. 15, 2017),  The short answer is YES!

According to the airnow.gov website, the air quality for San Francisco, as of 9:00am, is Moderate (yellow, AQI = 52), so we are currently planning to have Lindy in the Park!  Of course, conditions are constantly changing, so we will continue to monitor the air quality during Lindy in the Park (using the airnow.gov website), and if the air quality becomes Unhealthy for Sensitive Groups (orange), we will let people know.  If the air quality becomes Unhealthy (red), we will cancel the remainder of Lindy in the Park.
