Sad News: Roy Evans passed away 12/7/2008
On Wednesday (12/10), I received an e-mail from Roy’s daughter, Amber Evans, that Roy unexpectedly died of a heart attack last weekend in his sleep. Roy Evans was a participant at Lindy in the Park, and he had been planning to make it to Lindy in the Park last Sunday.
Amber would like to invite any friends in the swing dancing community to attend a celebration of Roy’s life, to be in San Francisco on Saturday, December 20, 2008, 4:00 PM at 3368 Jackson St (at Laurel).
