Sunday, December 13, 2015: Lindy in the Park canceled due to rain

    Hi Everyone,

Sorry, but Lindy in the Park is canceled today (12/13/2015) due to rain. It’s currently raining here in San Francisco (9:40am) and the forecasts predict rain between now and the early afternoon. We hope to be back next week, weather permitting.

If you need to dance today, check out the final “Second Sunday Swing” dance with The Klipptones, at Neck of the Woods, 406 Clement between 5th & 6th Ave, SF, 2-5pm, with dance floor and no cover!

    Good morning Lindy Hoppers!

Lindy in the Park is on for today! Currently, the sun is out and it’s not raining, and the forecasts look favorable. But of course, as always, we reserve the right to cancel early at any time if it gets too wet! Bring your rain gear just in case, and see you at the park!

  • Sun, Nov 1, 2015: Special live band performance at LitP!

    Hello Dancers!

We’re excited to announce that this Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015, Lindy in the Park will have a very special live performance by a nationally-recognized band playing swingin’ numbers you know and love!  This will be only the third time in 19 years that we will have a live band play for us, so don’t miss out on this amazing post-Halloween treat.  The band will be playing a short set of live music at LitP to help promote their show at another venue in the Bay Area.  And because the location and timing of this other show is so close, their contract prevents us from disclosing their name.

Just trust us, and be there at LitP this Sunday.

  • Reminder: Daylight Savings Ends Nov. 1, 2015

Daylight Savings Time ends early morning this Sunday, Nov. 1, 2015!

So remember to reset all your clocks and watches back one hour Saturday night to standard time (“rock step, spring forward, fall back, triple-step”). And you’ll get an extra hour of sleep–-woohoo! Otherwise, you may show up to Lindy in the Park earlier than you expect–-you may even show up on time at 11:00 AM!  😉
